Erica Synths Resonant Filter Bank sound demo (part 1)
The Graphic Resonant Filterbank (FB) is a ten-band analogue filterbank with digital control over each bands boost or cut. Each band can be controlled individually via CV or manually, while complex control configurations turn the filterbank into an unconventional multimode filter and even an instrument in its own right when played with various resonance settings. The Expander module provides hands-on adjustment of boost and cut for all bands.

Ive noticed poor old erica gets a lot of abuse & stick,reckon every single person that parted with hard earned cash to actually hold in their grubby lil fingers, a Erica Synth was ,well lets say Less than impressed,feeling of being Violated in the 1st degree, But please try to control your emotions an get a grip on that moment of understandable, possibly life changing moment of utter Rage,An to not join the 'i killed my Erica Synth' club an instead pass it to someone (Me) that is sworn to somehow never give up until i achieve what seems to be the impossible task of learning, an loving,yes loving this synth untill sweet loving sounds of electronic pulses an patches brings innerpeace an tranquillity to all ,

What a great looking module these new screens are special love my nightverb keeping it to my drums for the special sauce but hopefully we can get a Reeseline db2 or a gc collab soon with the new screens best screens in the business rn best sounds best construction been waiting for a new db2 or lxr3 I love them but with all this new tech your introducing it’d be awesome to see it on the existing machines plus that voice from game changer would be sooooo dope to have on th lxr design it would literally change the whole industry

A good vocoder needs different bandpass filter tuning, where filters are in vocal range.
@@girtsozolins4171 Bandpass filters already exist, as do the vca's to control them. So does the input for the signal to be modulated. All that's missing is a microphone input and the band-splitting of what comes from it to drive the vca's, which is easy to do with digital equipment. For the clarity of a vocoder, it's the number of bands that counts rather than their precise frequency. With the 10 existing bands, already well distributed over the spectrum, that's quite enough.

I used to sorta think as you do, but after investing a some money into a small eurorack playground it's the most fun I've ever had making electronic music, and I've been doing this for 18 years. Eurorack is all about having fun my man, lighten up a bit and quit making everything a contest
